An invoice template gives you a reusable starting point for services you bill regularly. It is separate from the gallery price list and shopping cart used for online gallery sales.
Open invoice templates
- Open Client Management.
- Select Invoicing.
- Open Invoice Templates.
- Review an available template or create a new one.
Build the template
Give it a clear internal name, then add the line items that normally appear together. For each item, review its name, description, rate and quantity. Add an appropriate memo or payment information where supported.
Keep tax and business wording accurate
Configure the business and tax details that apply to you. Workspace cannot determine your legal or tax obligations; obtain professional advice for your jurisdiction.
Use the template for a real invoice
When creating an invoice, choose the suitable template and then review every field. Confirm the client, project, issue and due dates, invoice number, tax treatment, line items, discount, payment methods and memo.
A template saves repeated entry; it does not remove the need to check the invoice.
Review templates regularly
Update a template when your prices, service inclusions, payment instructions or business details change. Do not change a template and assume an already-issued invoice has been rewritten.
