How the sales platform works
Volume Portrait Accounts are designed to handle lots and lots of orders from the hundreds and hundreds of photographs that you may shoot at a school.
Parents will be asked to enter a password to take them directly to the photos of their child, plus a class photo and maybe others personal to them, like sports and cultural photos.
Apart from that, once you’ve uploaded the images and CSV, and shared the Gallery, your Volume Portrait shop front will works like any other Workspace account, and a parent’s online shopping experience will be identical to all other Workspace customers.
There is one other exception — as we’ve already discussed — that with a Volume account you can offer an economical Bulk Shipment option in Gallery Settings, where orders can be consolidated and sent as a single shipment to the school.
