The Project Portal resides within the Project and is a place your clients can go to find everything in the Project that's relevant to them as your customer, including:
- Events scheduled
- Contracts, quotes and invoices
- External links (e.g. what to wear guides)
- Image galleries
- Album designs
You can personalise the project portal by adding a header image, welcome text etc.
The link to the portal is automatically generated. If you wish you can choose not to share it with your clients, although that would mean you will need to communicate and update the information it contains manually.
You can make the portal Private or Public. If Private, you can create a password that will be required to access the page. Otherwise anyone with the link will be able to open it.
As a basic rule, what's shared is what the client needs to see. For example:
- Internal notes are for staff, so not shared.
- Others like agreements, galleries and albums are.
